Doctor Howard Lee BDS (Otago, NZ)
Dr Howard Lee is happy to have returned to Ulladulla where he loves the lifestyle,
particularly spending time at the beach and in the bush. He enjoys the outdoors, surfing and
skiing in his spare time.
Dr Lee grew up in New Zealand before moving to Western Australia in 2009.
He graduated with Bachelor of Dental Surgery in University of Otago, New Zealand in 2004
and has been a dental surgeon for 13 years.
He has worked in the New Zealand Army as well as at Kalgoorlie and Karratha in Western
Australia. In 2014, he moved to Sydney, initially working at Engadine and then became a
partner at Caringbah Dental Care in 2017. He continues to work between Carringbah and
Ulladulla, enjoying a mix of city and regional life.
His main interests are cosmetic dentistry, children’s dentistry, wisdom tooth removal,
dentistry under sedation/GA and dental implants.
With more than a decade of experience in removing difficult, hard-to-remove wisdom teeth
and replacing missing teeth with dental implants, Dr Lee frequently receives referrals from
colleagues for difficult cases. In addition, he strives to make his fillings and crowns as natural
looking as possible.
Dr Lee takes numerous courses every year to improve his clinical skills and knowledge and
making his patients’ teeth healthy for life is his priority.
Nina Wongthong
A qualified dental nurse Nina has been working with Dr Lee for two years. Her friendly smile makes patients feel comfortable and relaxed.
Nina has a Certificate Level III in Dental Assisting from TAFE. She also works at the Caringbah
Dental Centre with Dr Lee and in happy to be spending more time on the south coast.
Laycie
Born and raised in the local area, our friendly receptionist Laycie has six years' experience as a dental nurse and has previously worked with Dr Lee. She is pleased to have joined the team and is the friendly face that will welcome you to the Ulladulla Dental Centre. Laycie is very helpful and knowledgeable, having worked with dentists as well as an orthodontist.
Carly
Carly Stewart has worked as a dental nurse for 10 years and loves her job! She is a mum of two young girls and enjoys spending time with them at the beach and discovering new places to dine out with the family.
